A very interesting development for Tanzania coincidently after the Barrick and GoT issue was legally concluded in Jan 2020.
Last year they were falling well short of being subscribed and now over subscribed by 110%.
$229B Tanz Shilling = approx $100M USD divide by 193 bids = approx. $500K USD per bid as an average.
Just over half the T Bond monies raised are being returned to investors due to a competitive oversubscription.
Quite likely Pareto - WKT parties are in this mix of investors.
Is a very good sign that Confidence is returning for bonds and debt investments into Tanzania.
