I honestly don't know how close they are to winning the deals and if the telco is also in negotiation with other IoT companies. However, knowing how bad Buddy Platform was, I think BUD lacked skills and talents. So, I don't think they are going to win this deal. But then again, other people here thinks my guesses are always wrong, even though I know half of them proved to be right. So use your own judgement.
