I agree, but unless he brings more than just corporate support...which would of itself be significant (re POS), then I fear such a position may not be optimal for the longer term view.
Of course, if Twigger were to signal to the market a desire to delve into energy, then I would be more than happy to take the resources version of the next "Kerry Packer" into our arms.
Where did this talk of a new Chairman stemm from by the way...just speculation or more to it?
I have looked into this and hilst I see it as a likelihood at some point, I was of the view it might not happen until the shape of their asset mix were known.
Perhaps it is...but just not to us yet?
