I think if nothing else, this mess shows just how the Chinese play hard ball when they wish to.
It also illustrates I think just how the Chinese will play parties off against each other, all in order to gain control.
Chinese NEVER do anything out of some benevolent regard for anybody. They are ruthless and have a take no prisoners approach to negotiations and business.
They are masters at it and have over the past 3 or 4 thousand years, refined it to an absolute art form.
