    I might be a bit behind on this stuff.

    Can someone explain diamox and topomax and why our drug trumps those drugs? Some patients have used them from what I can find with some mixed results but ultimately in the end the problem with IIH continues.

    Quick review
    Topomax - reduce the production of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which is the fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord.
    Diamox - is used in people with certain types of glaucoma to reduce the amount of fluid in the eye, which decreases pressure inside the eye
