I think you may very well be right - was actually thinking the same thing last night - too many results being released in the US over the next few days, which if bad on the whole could just distract local investors from getting right into any CFR annc released at the same time as US results - therefore I came to the view either before at at market open today, failing that, then after market close so everyone has a good chance to digest over the weekend, or failing that, part-way into next week after most of the headline US results have been released - but once again, I'm just speculating, sitting here, sucking my thumb hummmming sweet nothings to myself...
