    Hi Sav

    Bad news from a technical perspective only, as those interbedded silts are always a pain, good seal but a drillers nightmare. To encounter this they try slow RPM, low Wt on bit & other combinations to get thro' this rough patch. Don't know if they r using a PDC bit, not that it matters though.
