ST, it is always interesting top hear other viewpoints and interpretations. As for the Santos geo who thinks the independant consultants report is overstated, well that is his opinion. He may prove to be right but it is easy to take a negative viewpoint rather than put it on the line. I know of another santos man who says that it is extremely interesting to them how CTP go and that the HC's are there, it is just a matter off finding it and how easy it will be to get out. It is a big area that needs exploring.
I would think that the consultant report would be as they see it, not an exaggeration, they have reputation to consider so would only have stated what they interpreted.
So we are all gambling, hopefully it pays off. Remember, every oil company in the world was a junior at some stage drilling a wildcat. Nothing is proven either way on one hole.
