I actually only submitted it on the friday afternoon australian EST so it wasn't that long before they actually posted it.
There is a one day delay before released to the general public because I asked for a higher payment.
I wrote an article on Biota which I have earned $20 so I guess it would have needed to go to another editor and not just posted.
