it mean exactly what i was asking , they need to they need to stop or Kill the zone so that does not interfere with the new zone ,
there maybe be a massive amount of brine in zone 31 , and they don't want to pump that out just yet , save that for production
so i guess a sleeve or a packer as MBC pointed out ,
