Doing a bit of reading on Michel Marier, but there are much better researchers than me so thought to post now.
The big takeaway i've got from his tweets are that he is 'confident AGY has fixed the issue with the high magnesium....'.



About Michel:
Mr. Michel Marier, BBA (Int'l Mgt), M.Sc. (Finance),CFA, FRM, serves as a Fund Manager at Sentient Group Limited and has been its Investment Manager since 2009. Mr. Marier led Sentient investment into Samco Gold on IPO. He joined Sentient Group from the Private Equity division of la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) in 2009, where he worked since 2001. Before 2009, Mr. Marier worked for eight years at the Private Equity division of la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. While at CDPQ, his responsibilities ranged from currency hedging, risk and return analysis to investments. In 2006, he participated in the establishment of a new sector in the Private Equity division - distressed debt. While at CDPQ, he undertook co-investment in distressed debt and natural resources sectors, portfolio risk assessment, treasury management and currency hedging as well as researching the natural resources sector. After this accomplishment, Mr. Marier concentrated his efforts on restoring the natural resources sector within the private equity division. He has been a Non Executive Director at Toro Energy Limited since December 22, 2014. He has been a Director of LeadFX Inc. since January 24, 2017. Mr. Marier has been a Director of Samco Gold Limited since January 16, 2012. Mr. Marier served as a Non-Executive Director of Geodynamics Limited (now Renu Energy Limited) from February 24, 2011 to August 31, 2015. Mr. Marier served as a Non-independent Director of Natural Resources USA Corporation from June 2010 to February 9, 2011. He is a CFA charterholder and Financial Risk Manager. Mr. Marier holds a Master's degree in Finance from HEC Montreal and B.B.A. in International Management.
