Typically 2TJ of gas per year or higher at a minimum. We aren’t so much looking at how much gas they use on these sites it’s more their peak gas demand that dictates the setup they require. A site might run flat out for an hour or two and not use a large amount of gas per year but their demand spike is huge. The main things we are looking at is metering size to ensure the meters can flow enough volume, inlet and reg pressures and pipes sizing up to the meter set.

While not impossible to put these sites on CNG it would be a considerable challenge and you would have a CNG truck with multiple bottles hooked up together.

Getting bottles of CNG delivered last minute in Australia can be a challenge let alone out in the middle of the Salar.

To then change again to LPG would require all the equipment to be recalibrated and depending on what the laws are like over there recertification and testing as well as piping and reg changes.
