Given all the pie in the sky SP guesses on here the last few weeks I think it was almost inevitable the SP would be sold into today, even if the news was good, as many people were talking like this announcement was it, the big one and I think had plans to sell into the (expected) spike, when really it was just the start of many more milestones to come. After re-reading the announcement now several times I don't think it was worded very well and everyone just saw the negative no BG due to no gas and panic sold like chickens without heads.
