for me - i am still unsure. we have discussed on this thread similarities to the 1997/98 financial crisis. during that period, the fed also slashed rates and the market continued to rally for a couple more years before they fell into a heap. in 1998, the dow also made a low in august and a retest of the lows in october.

i'm not sure which path we follow and at the moment, not banking on either - as the saying goes, time will tell.
