Again you have to be kidding. You say that mining allows you to ask for higher wages. I suppose demand and supply are not important in your world view. I suppose that anybody that is a worker in the mines is a lefty, and therefor anybody that is a boss in the mines must be a righty. I suppose the bosses could show the way by not accepting the higher wages they get.
So the miners etc dont need the higher wages. That's a new one.!
And this is because of Labor, in your opinion, and has nothing to do with limited supply of labour and nothing to do with the high demand of china for our resources, and nothing to do with people not wnating to leave the comfort of the East side of the Great Divide and come and get a well paid job.
Its going to be 42, 39 , and 35c over the next 3 days in Newman ( thats in the Pilbara of WA ) . It going to be 24, 24, and 26C for the Sydney sooks .

Yep they deserve it. Try doing 6 months of roster out there in summer, in construction, or on the tools. And dont say anything about the camp facilities, you have to be there to see how they are not used.
