From today's Fin Review:-Merrill Lynch and Macuqrie Research say investors should buy stock in miner Lihir Gold, wht the latter holding an "outpeform" rating. A visit to the company's operations last week confirmed to Macquarie that Lihir is a gold investment with a long-life reserve and strong production growth profile.
Merrill has a 12 month price target of $5.50 and Macquarie $4.80.
