supporting the stock or
knowing something from the inside
there are other possible reasons:
he hasn't the time to examine the ASX to discover your low priced alternatives, and so is buying the low priced devil he knows or
heis required by a possible remuneration or executive scheme to own x number of the shares of the company of which he is a director.
