two face real estate industry

I read this article, which is instructive as it shows what the property industry really thinks is happening

    http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/flaying-wa-property-market-claims-rates-05-too-high-20110624-1gjgh.html

I then reflected on this, and it got me quite upset. What bothers me is not so much this typical request of the industry for tax payers to subsidise it. I am immune to getting annoyed about that, as it is so common.

What infuriated me is, the industry is OK with telling it like it is when it needs a handout from the govt. But when real estate people talk about the market to prospective buyers, they always coach their opinions in Orwellian doublespeak, never able to truly admit bad news. Convincing the financially illiterate to buy in a fall market. No agent would ever say that now is not a good time to buy, regardless of what is happening at that point in time.

This two faced behaviour is immoral I believe.
