I am getting more concerned by the day with the poor performance of ARQ on the ASX, because unless the ARQ share price can be turned around, and turned around quickly, there is a serious chance of a hostile bid being successful at what really is a paltry price.
Though it may appear to be attractive based on what we now have - $1.37.
Let's face it, we have had a roaring energy boom and yet ARQ shares are now 10% lower than their closing price on 31st. December 2004 of $1.53.
That being the case there will be plenty of shareholders just crying out for a takeover bid.
A successful bidder will not only get ARQ, but also control of ADI. Two for the price of one.
