Grasberg is at 2.5b tons after 20+ years of mining! What a monster discovery that was. I haven't been able to find what the original resource was when Freeport first started mining. I'm sure one of the Geos would know.
If Andewa proves to be what we all hope then I'd say developing a mine there will be somewhat easier than at Grasberg.
