Basically covers it.
RC Pros: Cheaper, faster, larger sample size.
RC Cons: Limited depth, no structural information, no good for met testwork.
Diamond Pros: Structural information, best quality sample, go as deep as you want, direction can be managed, good for met testwork.
Diamond Cons: Cost, slow speed.
When dealing with most pits RC does the job with some diamond holes thrown in to test depth, structure and met characteristics.
