One of the two ?big pharma deals? expected in the next 6 months must be the CD40L programme. In the RB Milestone report (page 19) they expect a CD40L Licence in 2011E of $5mil(US). I presume 2011E to mean earnings starting 1 July 2010.
In the recent newsletter PYC say there are two pharmas interested in CD40L so this amount could increase with the competition. PYC are currently fast tracking CD40L leads into animal models following optimising which increased the potency by 50 times.
I pick June for the CD40L announcement and maybe April for a 'screening for a lead, against a disease target' partnership deal.
