… for the PM to call a party room meeting. That has been the convention in the Liberal Party for eons.
That was all that was needed when Kevin Andrews challenged Turnbull in 2009, when Abbott became opposition leader.
That was all that was needed in 2015 when Abbott called a meeting and was replaced by Turnbull.
Now Turnbull wants a letter with 43 signatures on it and the vote is supposed to be a secret ballot? If he gets it and still doesn't call a meeting what then?
Tells a lot about the character of the individual.
But there again there are quite a few of us posting on here knew that a long time ago
