    The insanely over armed USA until recently was trumpeting a requirement for the EU to spend 2% of GDP on armaments

    With the IRA essentially being a declaration of economic war on its 'friends and allies' that trumpet call reeks of irony.

    President Macron is now suggesting 2% of EU GDP to defend against the impact of the IRA.

    EQR should be thankful for a tie-up up with a reputable German entity within the EU and not seek to 'Trump' long term trade arrangements made in good faith.
