I disagree that the US is capitalist. It is just the same as most of Europe, UK, Australia, Canada etc. It is a left wing utopia.
"Try being poor in America" you said. Well, with Medicaid and welfare and houses that cost 40 k in a lot of areas, you're better to be poor there than in Vietnam. You can eat all the Macdonalds you want
Vietnam is "socialist". The poor in that country were starving only 20 years ago. Now, there still are communities like that. Never have I seen a people that value status as much as the vietnamese
