Mr Cockcroft has an extensive and proven track record in the management of international energy businesses and has spent the past ten years principally in commercial, management and advisory roles. He has over forty oil and gas technical and commercial publications to his credit and is presently the Visiting Research Fellow for the Institute of South East Asia studies.

Mr Peter Cockcroft embarked on a distinguished career in the petroleum industry after graduating from the University of Sydney with qualifications in geology and geophysics in 1972. He holds postgraduate qualifications in business administration from the Edinburgh Business School and the University of Texas.

As a recognised authority in South East Asia, Mr Cockcroft has been a special adviser to governments and major petroleum companies. He holds memberships with the Institute of Directors (UK), American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Society of Petroleum Engineers and the International association of Energy Economists
