Banjar, that discussion we had about Peter Andrews was more than two years ago ....... thoughtful of you to remember and interesting that our views are somewhat unchanged. e.g. Your impatience translated into you simply feeding the plant NOT the soil.
What I found interesting here was that it was pretty clear that Peter hadn't put production and the consumer forward as his foremost objective because for over 20 odd years he had first taken a property that was a wreck and transformed it into a shining jewel by finding what in the first place caused these environmental problems. Then it became one of how do you then turn them around, using nature's own methods? i.e. Being willing to forego short term gains for long term solutions which should apply in just about any field setting regardless of soil structure mainly because of changeable weather patterns.
Tis patience and a find first and ye shall seek approach that makes sense.
