I still remember the referendum for the Republic. There are numerous factions having their own models, instead of getting the Referendum passed first and then come to an agreement on the model, they all wanted their own model. John Howard saw that weakness and capitalize on it and the rest is history.

Should we be learning from history? I am for nobody except a successful SP for EGO and can you see any improvement with the 5 year plan and the implementation of such? Hard to see that happening if we all behave like the case I quoted above because I am sure our 5 year planners can see that as well.

We are now in the third quarter. Well in. Are we doing anything. We can of course wait for the QTR rept to tell us the bad news (hopefully not). If we don't get a miracle remedy for RGN, we are in trouble.

The benefit and momentum of the first strike will lapse unless there is a second strike. I think we should all think carefully about "unity is strength". The way I am thinking at the moment, any change will be better than what we have got, even the unknown couldn't do any worse. All JIMHO of course.
