Govt is on the backfoot here on the I was due for a dat dose of Astra at the beginning of the month but now thy don't have any and will now offer me Sinovac (Chinese vax) which has a very low efficacy, and reduction in effectiveness over time. Still no date for it tho.. Covit testing is quite limited with probably only those getting to the hospital being checked Official figures for today are about 16000 + cases. Some pretty sad stories on what is happening. Still queues of people in the backstreets for food handouts daily. Watched the lockdown protests in Sydney and Melbourne on the news and felt terribly saddened for what those individuals were doing with regards to inflicting risk by their actions on the vulnerable in the community. They really don't know how lucky they are. Enough rant!
