is it just me?? but when i see oil go to all-time highs, oil stocks normally drop because people start to begin that the world is caving in and decide to put all their money under their bed..
on the other hand, if materials go up (e.g. the recent highs of gold/silver/platinum), those stocks generally sky-rocket..
it seems like the high price of oil actually affects oil stocks in a negative way..
opinions?
