Carlos, thanks for sharing your story with us, it is a real honour. I can see this thread being used for 'good' if you wish it to, as you said with your friend looking to change his habits accordingly to your diagnosis.
With that thought, I was wondering if you would like to share any symtoms or 'signs' you had, if any. I think the more these kind of things are spoken about, the better as if it can encourgae one person to see their doc it is worth it.
