IMO, Siana would have gone unaffected beyond any average rainy day. Despite early tracks placing it in the path it was just too far away. Is there any reason to report it? I don't think so. Do you think yesterday's sell off was due to the storm? I posted here before the storm hit that it would be a non-event at Siana. How properly informed are market movers? In these simple cases, similarly I would expect, or are there enough less informed retailers in this stock to cause such a drop? There was an article in the local paper about potential revenue sharing arrangements that was more likely to send a negative signal to the market yesterday (although it didn't yet specify any retrospective details relevant to Red's MPSA). Also gold got hammered the night before. Furthermore, you had an article in the Australian about Red5 as a takeover target. In my experience these articles have a habit of appearing because someone with influence wants out, or there is a leak of a raising underway.

Anyway, the storm was a non-event for nearly everywhere. Predictions and satellite imagery looked like landfall as a catastrophic Cat 5 and 930hPa. But judging by photos of damage in the core of it, I'd say it came in as a Cat 3 max, Davao wouldn't have gotten over Cat 1. But that didn't stop a very large tree on the street from uprooting and toppling over and taking out my powerlines, meanwhile barely another twig moved. Typical.
