This is interesting. Note that their main customers are SMEs.
Have a look at the number of small businesses that fail in their first year or two. I would not be surprised if a large proportion of SME churn are those small businesses closing down.
That's not to say the payments space is very competitive. Prior to this issue, Tyro had been doing well growing the business, but ongoing continued success is not guaranteed and they will need to work hard for it.
