A lesson to anyone following this in January to look beyond the headlines. A crude and short-term attack from viceroy which was called out at the time by many holders, backed with evidence and easy to see that the issue was overblown and the SP oversold (the whole point of the attack). I deployed extra capital at $2.60 for some really nice returns, and I hope all the people here took advantage of the good DD on offer to do the same.
The whole play was to short it down, create fear, trigger stop losses, then probably buy it and play it on the way up too. All based on a bit of a smear campaign in the media.
I think Tyro will be one of my top gaining positions for 2021, and full credit to management for their transparent reporting of transaction volumes that made it easy to quantify the effect of the outage. I trust this company more than most!
