I didn’t expect to have an immediate price uplift through this announcement. I think the time and the other business metrics will tell if this feature makes a difference.
It certainly sounds awesome to bring this to market as the first Australian Banks together with Westpac. It’s good to see that Tyro is still nimble and on it’s toes to keep up with latest industry changes.
However, the share price will only react if that helps to drive merchant numbers, transaction volume and profit. I do think that Tyro will be able to achieve this though.
