I’ve recently set up Tyro at my local Golf club due to COVID-19 and people not wanting to handle cash. The club is quite impressed with it so far. The terminal works off of our local phone towers (rural vic) and is super fast with transactions (2.5 seconds). The reason we chose Tyro was the $0 startup and no monthly merchant fees (they just take a percentage of the sale). So it doesn’t cost us anything for it to sit there unused and the funds clear into our nominated bank account the next day. Wrapped with the decision so far!
