Surcharge reform has gone quiet. I don't think they will change it much- maybe not before an election either. At worst i see a modest cap, which will be offset by the growth in non cash transactions. I don't know much about kiwi transaction surcharge legislation- perhaps there isn't any there? I think it is a good way to expand with potentially little outlay (lets see the details). Our balance sheet looks good to me, so i think we can find a combo of takeover that doesn't strain the balance sheet or dilute us too much.
