Best of luck Dapper in CGG. I hope you stick around here and continue to give us your thoughts.

I don’t follow CGG closely but just by way of comparison, CGG have 1bn shares on issue roughly. They placed approx 200m shares right at the bottom of the market @ 10.5 cents equiv to 30% of the company at the time, and 3 months earlier placed 200m odd shares @ 20 cents which was the equiv of 40% of the company at the time (very round numbers). The SP is now 44cps.

Anyway this isn’t the CGG thread, but this example shows that given the right prospects (read KEY), securing the necessary funding can reveal their true value to the market. Theres hope for us yet I believe.
