there are a lot of test cases around the world trying to clean up the internet
and it will happen, one way or another
there cannot be such a level of the abuse, disrespect and irresponsibility of such freedom of broadcast
Freedom MUST come with responsibility - otherwise it will be attacked and it will be defeated
the control will come - and I suspect by formation of government controlling agencies which will use tools such as AI and way better and faster tools - there will be no human in the chain at a guess
if we wonder why this has happened - well, we're reading it every day on social media - stalking, bullying, hate speech, fraud, misinformation, disinformation
it had to come - and it WILL come. Those who spread such hate and misinformation etc - will be identified and their resources will be removed and when found physically, they will quite possibly be incarcerated - that's been a precedent set already and IMO - it will continue

on hc - you can thank people who post fake photos and start threads when attacks and the like happen and they point out some particular group -without any evidence at all
it's all accumulative - and they are a very big part of the reason for all of us having to pay the price of control
