The Cook government knows it has a fight on it's hands to remain in power next year and probably a lot of his voters have money in the likes of uranium share's or just like to go with nuclear power in the future because they may have seen the light. What ever! politicians will say or do anything to keep in power and opening opportunities for work and funds from Uranium mining is a no-brainer to keep his constituents happy. The longer he goes without giving the okay for Uranium mining the less votes he will have. IMO
