The U.S has a smaller standing Army than China and North Korea is right up there in personal.

Most of the money is used on advanced weaponry, some of which has been adapted for civilian use.
Global positioning system, Internet etc.

Even NASA created technology is now in civilian use.

You U.S haters have it bad.
