Consumer Prices in U.S. Increased 0.7% Last Month Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Prices paid by U.S. consumers rose in January by the most in four months, a sign companies are having more success passing along rising costs to their customers.
The 0.7 percent increase in the consumer price index followed a 0.1 percent decline in December, the Labor Department said today in Washington.
