US DATA REACT: Economist Ian Morris at HSBC says it was a very weak jpbs report: "This type of 0.3ppt move in unemployment is rare (Aug 2001 and Oct 2001 were the last two times), and typically only happens around recessions." For the Fed he says "The only question is whether it is 25bp or 50bp. At this stage, we stick with 25bp, as some inflation concern lingers and payrolls is not yet running at -200K per month as
it would in a recession.
