I had an AK47 in Kentucky bought it brand new to shoot cayotes , for $85.00 20 years ago , it was the most inaccurate rifle you could imagine. Putting telescopic sites on it would have just made it more useless. At 25 yards there was about a 40 mm spread, you just could not zero it in. I would think ideal for jungle war fare but for anything else it is left wanting. Nothing more satisfying than shooting with an accurate rifle There is an American marksman who took out a Taliban machine gunner at 1.6kms.
