No, they are not.

On 20th March Iran plans to open it's oil bourse, which will trade in Euros, not US$. Countries then have the option of using Petroeuros rather than Petrodollars.

The US can not allow this to happen.

The US may not be do the strike on Iran, Israel may be the one.

But the huge US$ problem will be the cause.

So something is going to happen with Iran prior to 20th March 2006.

By the way, Saddam had started wanting payment in Euros for Iraq's oil just prior to the US attack.

Might be a great idea to get some gold and silver pretty soon. Seems like the smart money has already started doing just that.
