A U.S. strike against Iran is very unlikely apart from the constrait placed upon the present administration by U.S. domestic politics. It is a totally different ball game to Iraq. Many different factors were in play there that are not part of the Iran scenario.

Thinking more in terms of something like the Israeli hit on Iraq's Osiraq nuclear materials testing reactor in 1981. Still probably a long shot anyway.
