    I don't think so . It's widely known that China controls 85% of the global critical REE processing ability. They can control the supply like turning off a tap whenever its suits. A strong bargaining tool to say the least. It affects many industries in the USA including the military/defence/security complex.
    In other words in the interests of short and long term security the urgency to gain an independent ability to mine and process REEs has never been more acute for the USA and other countries.
    The short term deal in place with China does diddly squat to relieve any dependent industries from the whims of China.
    The US government has felt the wrath of loss of supply chain control and has never been more incentivised to correct the situation.
    This bodes well for DTR given the pre eminent geologists recent appraisals of the geology and lithology align with that of the neighbouring Mountain Pass operations.
    I would not be surprised if funding from one or more government agencies is forthcoming sooner rather than later.
