ST'78 - aka "the buried lede" - To wit:

"The phrase "buried lede" (or "buried lead") refers to a journalistic or writing mistake where the most important or interesting part of a story is not emphasized or placed prominently at the beginning, but instead is hidden or "buried" deeper in the text. This makes it harder for readers to grasp the main point quickly. The "lede" is the opening sentence or paragraph of a story, meant to hook the audience and convey the key information.

For example, if a news article about a major scientific discovery starts with background details and only mentions the breakthrough in the fifth paragraph, it has buried the lede. The term originates from journalism but is also used in other writing contexts to criticize poor prioritization of information."
