If the t-bond rates rise (to over 3%) that means the value of (existing) t-bonds fall (not soar).
from your 2nd link:
10_YEAR yield, which falls as prices rise, was down 5 basis points on the day at 2.722%, on track for its lowest close since the end of November
So we don't have 3.03 (maybe we did?) we have 2.722
Are falling t-bond interest good or bad for gold. That should be good, I guess. But the normal operations don't seem to apply much, anymore
