IV Relenza will almost certainly be approved for use "within days" . It's currently on emergency use only approval.
if this happens it bypasses years of testing. WOW
What better testing than on dying patients. If they dont get it they will probably die. If they do get IV relenza they will probably live. Well that the hope.
This also has huge ramifications for LANI. As its so advanced if we see IV relenza approved then LANI may well be next. Plus the rotohaler approval for Relenza is a no brainer.
This swine flu has a silver lining in that things look like being fast tracked bigtime,so as to save lives now.
Not fast tracked will nilly but drugs with a proven track record.
